Standing Up to the War on Women's Rights in 2024
#MyVoiceMyChoice
The decision to undo 50 years of precedent is having huge ramifications for millions of women. Abortion rights are being curtailed in GOP-led states in the South and Midwest, leading to a patchwork of laws without constitutional protection. The fight is just beginning
The Supreme Court's 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade took away the national right to abortion. Now, more than 20 states have stricter abortion laws. But the fight for abortion access continues at the state level. This year, some states are voting on measures to either protect or restrict abortion rights. So far, all six states that have voted, including California, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Vermont, have chosen to protect abortion rights.
